In his 1964 book, Architecture of Southern California:
Wallace Neff was a native of California practicing in Los Angeles.
He held seven honor awards from the American Institute of Architects and received the coveted Fellowship in 1956.
Mr. Neff received his architectural training in Europe where he spent five years, studying in Italy, France, Germany and England. He then returned to the United States to finish his studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mr. Neff designed homes for some of the most prolific figures in American and Hollywood history. His work is an excellent example of gracious and cultured living.
